Understanding Composition - Light and Dark

The use of light and dark can play an important part in the structure of a drawing or painting. There will be discussions on this aspect of composition, looking at the works of painters as diverse as Rembrandt and Auerbach, and practical sessions in the studio. All materials and equipment necessary to complete this course are provided.
