Seeing the Essentials

A new workshop dealing with an age old problem in painting - seeing the essence of a subject however complex its outward appearance may be and frequently, what to leave out (not just simplification). Students will use simple techniques and direct approach to drawing and painting both in the studio and St Ives. All materials and equipment necessary to complete this course are provided.
