Contemporary Workshop

The week will start by gathering information on a guided tour around St Ives, a location which has influenced so many modern artists of the ‘St Ives School’. Students will be introduced to a variety of techniques and directions, including abstraction, during an intensive week which, under the guidance of our resident contemporary artists, will encourage them to ‘let go’ of some of their usual skills. All materials necessary to complete the course are provided.
